This is a blog that seeks to follow the journey of one girl, whose primary goal since college was to live, work & create a life in Latin America. At this point in time, she is living in working in Arequipa, Perú on a year long fellowship. A term used to typically describe a white American/English speaking female traveler in Latin America. Though this term can sometimes be used to describe all Americans, the imagery associated with the word is typically for a white traveler. Thus the reason I have described myself as Chocolate ;-)!
